WILDLIFE, MAMMALS AND BIRDS
WILDLIFE

TOUCHDOWN QUATTRO is not classified as “Harmful to game, wild birds and animals”.

MAMMALS AND BIRDS

TOUCHDOWN QUATTRO is not considered to be a risk to game and wildlife when used as recommended

BEES
No risk management necessary. TOUCHDOWN QUATTRO is of low risk to honey bees.

NON-TARGET INSECTS AND OTHER ARTHROPODS
No risk management necessary. When used as directed, TOUCHDOWN QUATTRO has no adverse effect on beneficial arthropod species.

TOUCHDOWN QUATTRO is of low risk to a range of arthropods commonly found in and around treated fields including ground beetles, parasitoids and predatory mites.

AQUATIC LIFE
TOUCHDOWN QUATTRO is of moderate toxicity to fish and other aquatic life, so care should be taken to minimise drift when applying TOUCHDOWN QUATTRO next to shallow ponds, ditches or slow flowing streams. Care should also be taken to ensure that surface waters or ditches are not contaminated with the chemical or used container.

No risk management necessary. When used according to label instructions there will not be sufficient contamination of water to present a risk to aquatic life.

TOUCHDOWN QUATTRO is not categorised under the LERAP scheme.

SOIL AND GROUNDWATER, EARTHWORMS AND SOIL MICRO-ORGANISMS
SOIL AND GROUNDWATER

TOUCHDOWN QUATTRO is moderately persistent in soil, but is strongly adsorbed to soil and is of low mobility. The use of TOUCHDOWN QUATTRO according to the recommended label text will present a low risk to groundwater. No risk management necessary.

EARTHWORMS

TOUCHDOWN QUATTRO is of low toxicity to earthworms. Use according to label recommendations will present a low risk to earthworms. No risk management necessary.

SOIL MICRO-ORGANISMS

TOUCHDOWN QUATTRO has a negligible effect on soil microbial respiration and nitrogen turnover. The risk to microbial activity is therefore low. No risk management is necessary.

NON-TARGET PLANTS
TOUCHDOWN QUATTRO is a non-specific translocated herbicide and, as such, may cause damage to non target plants.

It is therefore important to minimise drift on to neighbouring crops, especially if using a sprayer with small droplet size. Care should also be taken to minimise drift on to conservation headlands, headlands and other field boundaries.
