IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be carefully read in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product

RESTRICTIONS
Avoid spraying within 6m of the field boundary to reduce effects on non-target insects and other arthropods.

DISEASES CONTROLLED
RADIUS is a water dispersible granule containing 400 g/kg cyprodinil and 53.3 g/kg cyproconazole for use as a foliar fungicide on winter wheat and winter and spring barley.

RADIUS is for control of Powdery Mildew, Yellow and Brown Rust and Septoria spp. on winter wheat.

RADIUS is for control of Powdery Mildew, Yellow and Brown Rust and Net Blotch and moderate control of Rhynchosporium on winter and spring barley.

RADIUS will give full control of Eyespot on winter wheat and barley when applied before or during the period of stem extension in the spring (GS30–32). Control may be reduced when very dry conditions follow application.

CROP SPECIFIC INFORMATION
Timing
Apply at first signs of disease development to ensure the best results. Further applications may be needed if disease attack is prolonged.

Powdery Mildew, Yellow and Brown Rust and Septoria spp. on winter wheat
Apply at the first sign of disease.

Powdery Mildew, Yellow and Brown Rust, Net Blotch and moderate control of Rhynchosporium on barley
Apply at the first sign of disease.

Eyespot on barley and winter wheat
When applied before or during the period of stem extension in the spring (GS30–32), RADIUS will give full control of Eyespot. Control may be reduced when very dry conditions follow application.

Rates of Use
Winter wheat
Apply RADIUS at 1.5 kg/ha. A maximum of 3.0 kg RADIUS may be used per crop per year.

Winter and spring barley
Apply RADIUS at 1.2 kg/ha. A maximum of 2.4 kg RADIUS may be used per crop per year.

MIXING AND SPRAYING
Mixing
Make sure the sprayer is set to give an even application at the correct volume.

Dry Mixing – Sprayers with Induction Hoppers
Fill sprayer to 15% of tank capacity with water and start agitation. Pour RADIUS into the induction hopper and open valve in bottom of hopper to suck the granules into the circulating spray mix. Continue adding RADIUS until loading is complete. Wash down any granules on the hopper wall and close valve.

Note for old sprayers with indirect venturi induction hoppers
In the unlikely event of problems occurring during dry induction of the granules (blocked venturi), open the rinse ring and add water to the hopper. As soon as product induction continues, carry on adding product until the required amount is reached.

Sprayers Without Induction Hoppers
Fill sprayer with a minimum of 15 cm of water in the bottom and agitate vigorously. Pour RADIUS through the sprayer lid and then add the remainder of water.

Agitate the mixture thoroughly before use. Agitation must be maintained during mixing and loading and until spraying is complete.

Thoroughly wash all spray equipment with water after use.

APPLICATION
Apply RADIUS in 200–400 litres of water per hectare using a tractor mounted sprayer and a MEDIUM spray as defined by BCPC. A spray pressure of 2–3 bars is recommended.

Resistance management
RADIUS contains a DMI fungicide. Resistance to some DMI fungicides has been identified in Septoria Leaf Blotch (Mycosphaerella graminicola) which may seriously affect the performance of some products. For further advice on resistance management in DMIs, contact your agronomist or specialist advisor, and visit the FRAG-UK website.

WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE GLOVES when handling contaminated surfaces.
However, engineering controls may replace personal protective equipment if a COSHH assessment shows that they provide an equal or higher standard of protection.
WASH HANDS AND EXPOSED SKIN before eating, drinking or smoking and after work.

(b) Environmental protection
DO NOT CONTAMINATE SURFACE WATERS OR DITCHES with chemical or used container.
RISK TO NON TARGET INSECTS OR OTHER ARTHROPODS. For advice on risk management see DIRECTIONS FOR USE.

(c) Storage and disposal
KEEP IN ORIGINAL CONTAINER, tightly closed, in a safe place.
