WILDLIFE, MAMMALS AND BIRDS
WILDLIFE
PRIORI XTRA is not classified as ‘Harmful to game, wild birds and animals’.
MAMMALS AND BIRDS
No risk management necessary to protect wild mammals and birds.
PRIORI XTRA is of moderate toxicity to mammalian and bird species. The risk to wild mammals and birds grazing in treated areas is low, as is the risk due to exposure from other routes e.g consumption of earthworms or other invertebrates such as insects.
BEES
No risk management is necessary as PRIORI XTRA poses a low risk to honey bees. There is no requirement to avoid applicaition of the product when bees may be foraging on flowering weeds in and around treated areas.
NON-TARGET INSECTS AND OTHER ARTHROPODS
No risk management is necessary. PRIORI XTRA poses a low risk to the range of arthropod species commonly found in and around treated fields.
AQUATIC LIFE
PRIORI XTRA is classified as ‘Very toxic to aquatic organisms’.
PRIORI XTRA is of high toxicity to fish and aquatic life, so care should be taken to minimise drift when applying PRIORI XTRA next to shallow ponds, ditches or slow flowing streams.
Care should also be taken to ensure that surface waters or ditches are not contaminated with the used container.
No risk management is necessary. When used according to the label instructions there will not be sufficient contamination of water to present a risk to aquatic life.

SOIL AND GROUNDWATER, EARTHWORMS AND SOIL MICRO-ORGANISMS
SOIL AND GROUNDWATER
Both azoxystrobin and cyproconazole are moderately persistent in soil and are moderately mobile. Use of PRIORI XTRA according to label presents a low risk to groundwater, therefore no risk management is necessary.
EARTHWORMS
PRIORI XTRA is of moderate toxicity to earthworms. However, at the recommended application rates, the risk to earthworm populations is low. No risk management necessary.
SOIL MICRO-ORGANISMS
PRIORI XTRA is unlikely to have any long-term effect on soil microbial activity, therefore the risk is considered to be low. No risk management is necessary.
NON-TARGET PLANTS
Azoxystrobin and cyproconazole have low activity on plants, and consequently, PRIORI XTRA should have no adverse effects on non-target plants.

Care must be taken to minimise the risk of surface water contamination from farmyard and
field sources.
